12/08/11 On Monday, December 5th at approximately 7:00 a.m. the Marshall County Police Department received a call from a homeowner in the 300 block of Vandalia Street in LaPaz in reference to several electronic items that were stolen from a vehicle parked in an unattached garage sometime during the evening hours. 

On Tuesday, December 6th at 8:51 a.m. Marshall County Police Department received a call in reference to a theft that occurred sometime between the hours of 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5th and 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6th.  It appears that an unknown person gained entry to Dimmitt’s Auto Salvage Yard located at 14487 Michigan Road in Argos and removed scrap copper and scrap batteries from the property.  The unknown person had also attempted to remove other items but was unsuccessful. 

Also on Tuesday, December 6th at 12:21 p.m. the Marshall County Police Department received a call from a female in the 17,000 block of Vine Street in Tyner.   She reported that someone stole her car from her driveway.  She said that she parked the car on Monday, December 5th at 11:00 a.m. in her driveway.  She noticed the car was missing when she received a phone call saying, “Hide and seek your car”.  She looked out the window and noticed her car was missing.  She thought a friend was playing a joke on her, and then she got a second phone call on Tuesday December 6th stating that the car was located on SR 23.  The car is a Purple 1998 Plymouth Neon with a firefighter plate CF 9416.  Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Marshall County Police Department at 574-936-3187.
