10/25/11 About 10:30 Saturday evening the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received an anonymous phone call reporting an underage drinking party in the 18,000 block of 5th Road.
Marshall County Patrolmen Hollopeter, O’Neal, and Cooper responded to the residence and made contact with the subjects there. During the investigation it was discovered that there were several young adults under the age of 21 that had been drinking.
38 year old Stacie Mayea admitted to officers that she had purchased the keg of beer for the party and admitted being present at the party and allowing the illegal consumption of the alcohol.
Eight persons were arrested in total. There were: Stacie Mayea for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class A misdemeanor, 18 year old Breann Mayea, 18 year old Boston Bays, 18 year old Michael Horvath, 19 year old Jeffery Wojcik, 19 year old Jeremiah Landrum and 19 year old Bryant Roberts were all arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol, a class C misdemeanor.
19 year old Michael Kavis was arrested for resisting law enforcement because he ran from officers through a field and into a wooded area where he was later appended by Patrolman Hollopeter.
