09/12/11 On Tuesday, September 6th at 11:07 a.m. the Marshall County Police Department responded to a call in the 17,000 block of Tomahawk Trail in reference to a criminal mischief complaint.   Between Monday, September 5th at 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 6th at 11:00 a.m. an unknown person shattered the rear window of a maroon and silver pick-up truck parked in the driveway in a driveway.  Anyone with information regarding this damage should call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.  (574-936-3187)

On Thursday, September 8th at 3:53 a.m. Patrolman Brandon Cooper of the County Police Department was on routine patrol in LaPaz when he witnessed a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit.  A traffic stop was conducted at US 31 and US 6 on the suspect vehicle.  It was determined that the driver, Lucas Muller-Rodriguez of Frankfurt, IN was operating the vehicle without a license.  Mr. Muller-Rodriquez was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where a $250.00 cash bond was set for his release.

On Thursday, September 8th at 2:31 p.m. Patrolman Bryant responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the 3,000 block of King Road.  During the investigation, Theresa Tapia of Plymouth was found on the premise and was arrested for burglary, theft and resisting law enforcement.  At this time there is no bond set for her release.
