06/30/11 On Wednesday June 22nd at approximately 5:00pm, Marshall County Police received a complaint of a suspicious male subject in the Rentown Community on Birch Road, just south of 2B Road in Bremen.  It was reported that the subject had distracted one of the employees from the Birch Road Greenhouse and then stolen cash from the register when the employee was helping the customer.  The suspect was described as a white male approximately six foot tall with short light colored hair, no facial hair, and stocky built.  Subject is believed to be in his late 20’s early 30’s.  The subject was driving a white passenger car, make and model are unknown.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 574-936-3187.

On Thursday June 23rd around 9:20pm Marshall Count Police received a call of a possible impaired driver on US 30 westbound from King Road.  Patrolman Cooper responded to the area and witnessed a vehicle matching the description that was driving in both lanes down US 30.  During the investigation, it was found that driver, Odis Shepherd 41, of Plymouth was intoxicated.  Shepherd was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where his bond was set at $1000.00 cash.  He has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on July 12th at 8:30am.
