Donnelly Thanks Lugar for Standing Up to Tea Party

December 20, 2011

12/21/11 Joe Donnelly, Democratic candidate for United States Senate, reached across the aisle to thank Republican Senator Richard Lugar for standing up to the Tea Party on Monday.  Lugar called for the House of Representatives to pass the Senate’s version of the Payroll Tax Cut Extension on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports.

“I thank Senator Lugar for reaching across the aisle and standing with me to support this tax cut over the objections of extremists in his party,” said Donnelly.  “I said last week that Congress should stay in session through Christmas if that’s what it took to make sure taxes don’t go up on Hoosier families.   I’m glad Senator Lugar decided to join me in standing up to the House Republican leadership.  This tax cut will help Hoosier families.”

We thank the current state leadership for eliminating the grotesque gerymandered abomination that allowed Joe to get elected. While in office Joe has voted like a representative of Southern California and chosen not to represent the interestests of Northern Indiana. Now he needs to look more conservative to support his run for the Senate. Good bye Joe. We will remember who you really are.

You Mr Donnelly big liberal extremist are part of what’s wrong with America. You’re sinking our nation in debt and you can’t see the wrong with liberalism…it’s a cousin to socialism.
