10/14/11 Local performer Marcy Prochaska will present a hammered dulcimer concert at 4 p.m. Sunday October 16, in the Legion Memorial Building on the campus of Culver Academies.
The dulcimer is an acoustic instrument in the stringed percussion family, like the piano, except the player holds the hammers directly instead of activating them with a keyboard. The concert will feature classical, traditional, and original music, and all ages are welcome.
