04/08/11 Just about two months ago, Earthworks, the environmental education center sponsored by the Poor Handmaids on Union Road, opened a second location in Plymouth. The satellite location, at 701 East Jefferson Street, houses a bakery, classroom, and the expanded Earthworks Market.
On Saturday, April 9 at 10:30am, Earthworks board members, staff and friends will gather in the newly renovated space to bless the building and the work that will take place there. Rev. Ed Reutz, one of Earthworks original board members, will lead the blessing prayer.
The public is invited to tour the new facility, to join in the blessing ceremony and to enjoy refreshments afterward.
