12/01/11 Tuesday evening at 7:51 Officer John Weir with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Council Drive and Western Avenue for a driving infraction.
Officer Weir walked his K-9 partner Rex around the vehicle and Rex indicated the presence of some type of narcotics. After a search was conducted, 29 year old Candace Ernsperger of 7th Road in Plymouth was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance. Officer Weir also found that Ernsperger was driving while suspended.
Ernsperger was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Possession of a Controlled Scheduled I Substance. Her bond was set at $1,000 and she is to appear in Marshall County Superior Court # 2 on December 27th.
