Fire on 3rd Road Leaves Family with Nothing

November 15, 2011

11/16/11 Saturday, in the early morning hours the home on 3rd Road owned by Cecil and Stacy VanBlaricom caught fire. Emergency responders were call just after 6 a.m.

VanBlaricom got himself, his wife Stacy and four children out safely. They lost everything in that fire as the home sustained substantial fire, water and smoke damage. The cause of the fire has been determined to be electrical in nature.

The family is in need of everything. Relatives are assisting by collecting donations of house hold items such blankets and sheets, dishes and glasses, silverware, and pots and pans. Basically anything to help themselves that would make their journey to rebuilding their lives easier.

The family also needs clothes. The father wears a size 30×32 in pants and large in men’s shirts. The mother is size 2 in pants and small in ladies shirts, while a 17 year old daughter wears 00 in pants and XS in junior shirts. A 15 year old son wears 28×29 in pants and small junior shirts with the 16 year old daughter wears size 2 pants and medium shirts, and the 10 year old daughter wears10 in pants and large in kids shirts.

Donations for the VanBlaricom Family can be dropped off at Town and Country Press on Jim Neu Drive in Plymouth.

Cecil and Stacy are friends of mine. I am greatful for Cecil he saved our children’s lives and his wife. In my book that makes him a HERO. I am asking everyone to reach deep in their hearts and help this family out. Nothing I can do or say can take the pain you see on their faces away but the kindness of people and the help we can give them will make this a little easier on them.

Thanks so much for everyones support and prayers.
