The Lady Chargers struggled through a 26.9% (7-26) shooting effort in the first half and turned the ball over eleven times in that same time period. Prairie State, on the other hand, shot over 43% (17-39) from the field in the first twenty minutes to gain a commanding halftime lead.
Ancilla was led on the glass by Natasha Ware, who pulled down 13 rebounds and added nine points to the effort. Katrina Vannoy was the only Lady Charger in double digits, finishing with 11 points.
Ancilla’s next game is Saturday, December 3 at home against Kankakee Community College at 1:00 p.m. The Chargers play their home games in the Charger Arena at the LifePlex of Plymouth, Indiana.
