The Plymouth Rockie freshman football opened their season with a 21-7 win against host Northwood Thursday night.

Drudge and Ryan MacLain had interceptions for the young Rockies while Kevin Escobar and MacLain recovered fumbles.
Benjamin Schenk came up with a fantastic reception to seal the game in the fourth quarter.
Head Coach Phil Bockman felt that “We played well! We have a lot to work on but winning our first game of the season is a step in the right direction.”
