03/04/11 The Marshall County Church Orchestra is conducting a fundraiser for their organization. They will be hosting their second annual Beef & Noodle Dinner next Friday, March 11 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The menu consists of: Beef & Noodles, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Dinner Rolls, Homemade Dessert and a Beverage. The all-you-can-eat dinner is dine in or carry out. Tickets are $8.00 and may be purchased from any orchestra member or by calling Don Harness at 574-936-7357 or Cindy Flagg at 574-952-3661. The dinner will be held at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in downtown Plymouth across the street from the First Source Bank. Tickets will be sold at the door, however the group is urging patrons to purchase their tickets ahead of time. Delivery is available for shut-ins and senior citizens by calling 952-3661.
Money raised form the beef & noodle fundraiser will be used to purchase music scores and other needed items for the orchestra. Through the years the orchestra has been able to purchase music scores, music stands, signs, and costuming. They also are able to give a small honorarium to guest artists who occasionally appear in concert with the orchestra.
