01/11/11 While Christmas may be over, the spirit lives all year long. The Grace Baptist School Ministry Team proved that when they presented their Christmas program to residents of Miller’s Senior Living Community in January.
The team of 13 Grace Baptist students led by Mrs. Pam Mechling was so busy performing in December they continued to present their variety program to several facilities into the new year. The ministry team not only sings. They also perform instrumentals, skits, and puppet skits with a gospel message. They wowed the audience when they played “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” on hand held chimes. The highlight of the performance however was when the 13 young people broke into harmony singing the “Hallelujah Chorus”.
Anyone wishing to book the Grace Baptist School ministry team may call the school and ask for Mrs. Mechling. Those who would like to be added to Miller’s mailing list to attend upcoming events may call the facility at 936-9801 and ask for Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg.
