01/10/11 The sixth grade DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) graduation was held at Riverside Intermediate School on Thursday, January 6th at 2:20 P.M.  Sixth grade students from St. Michael’s School and Riverside School in Plymouth were recognized for the lessons they’ve learned about drug-free living. 

The graduation concluded a multi-week instructional program led by officer Mark Owen of the Plymouth Police Department.  Pictured are the twelve overall DARE essay winners with Officer Owen.  They are: (front row) Daisy Lewis, Alex Berg, Jordan Blackburne, Lenae Singleton, Victoria Styers; (2nd row): Lauren Wiegand, Hannah Walker, Lexie Stein; (3rd row) Officer Owen, Austin Reed, Daniel Vegso, David Bacon,  and Travis Owen. 

Mayor Mark Senter shared remarks at the ceremony and Chief Jim Cox and Assistant Chief Bacon also attended the ceremonies.
