01/10/11 The sixth grade DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) graduation was held at Riverside Intermediate School on Thursday, January 6th at 2:20 P.M. Sixth grade students from St. Michael’s School and Riverside School in Plymouth were recognized for the lessons they’ve learned about drug-free living.
The graduation concluded a multi-week instructional program led by officer Mark Owen of the Plymouth Police Department. Pictured are the twelve overall DARE essay winners with Officer Owen. Mayor Mark Senter shared remarks at the ceremony and Chief Jim Cox and Assistant Chief Bacon also attended the ceremonies.
