10/12/11 The internationally-acclaimed Harlem Ambassadors will be visiting Plymouth for an entertaining afternoon of basketball at Plymouth High School on Sunday, October 16.

The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines.  The Ambassadors will play against a team of Marshall County community representatives.

The Ambassadors feature non-stop laughs and deliver a positive message for kids at every show.  “At our shows, we want the kids to know that they’re part of our team too,” Coach Lade Majic said.  “We invite as many kids as we can to come sit on the bench, have a front row seat during the show, and get involved in all the fun stuff we do.”

The Ambassadors set themselves apart from other “Harlem-style” basketball teams by working with local community organizations.  The Harlem Ambassadors will partner with the United Way and American Red Cross of Marshall County.  All proceeds from the event will remain in the local community.

The game starts at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16 at Plymouth High School.  Tickets are $6 for youth (17 and under), $8 for adults and a special Family Package is available for $25 (two adults and up to three children) and are available at the Marshall County Chapter Office.

For more information, to sponsor the event or learn how you can become a member of the community team, contact the American Red Cross, Marshall County Chapter.
