06/20/11 Bremen resident Tim Harman believes his proven economic leadership, conservative beliefs and his sincere desire to promote and defend the American Dream will make him an effective Indiana State representative for 2012.

As an entrepreneur, he has created nearly 100 jobs from a start-up company since 2005. As the owner of Harman Restaurants, Inc., he has three Subways (Bourbon, Etna Green, and South Whitley); two Bourbon St. Pizzas (Bourbon and North Webster); and the Nappanee Pizza Co. (Nappanee).

Additionally, he is the owner of BFIT (fitness center) in Bremen.

Harman said, “I am a conservative, who wants the size and scope of government to be minimal. I also believe it is time for real representation, meaning, we need to elect people who will listen to their constituents and will always act in their best interests.”

Harman says he is a principled leader who will not shy away from his core beliefs. Among those beliefs is the protection the unborn and traditional marriage

He said, “We need people in government to do what they say they will do and carryout their promises with integrity.”

Harman is a Plymouth High School graduate and holds a Bachelors Degree from Florida Atlantic University and Masters Degree from Florida State University.

He is currently a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Marshall County Right to Life, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and Bremen, Nappanee, and North Webster Chambers.

Harman is an appointed board member of the Marshall County Holding Company that oversees the repayment of bonds by the county.

Harman and his wife Jennifer are the parents of four children ranging in age from 11 to 2.
