6/01/11 Plymouth Police arrests seven individuals over the holiday weekend.

On Friday May 27th at approximately 7:55pm, Officer Shively made a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Oak Drive and Pilgrim Lane.  After a drivers license check, it was determined that Cynthia A. Gaines 42, of Plymouth was driving on a suspended license.  Ms. Gaines was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where she was booked in for Driving While Suspended with a prior.  Gaines’ bond was set at $750.00 cash which was paid at 10:40 the same evening.   She is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on June 21st.

Then on Saturday, May 28th at 1:39 A.M. Corporal Taberski responded to the Economy Inn at 2535 North Michigan Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint.  The occupant of the vehicle, Elizabeth A. Daugherty 31, of Plymouth was found to have an active warrant out of Kosciusko County for fraud.   Daugherty was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and placed on a hold.  Daugherty was transported out of Marshall County on May 28th at 3:30 A.M.

In the early evening on Sunday May 29th around 8:40, Officer Gary Cleveland responded to the Dairy Queen located at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Oak Drive in reference to an intoxicated male urinating outside of the building.  Marek A. Hreska 20, of Bourbank, Illinois was found sleeping in a vehicle that did not belong to him.  Hreska was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Illegal Consumption, with a $250.00 cash bond, which was paid upon his release on Tuesday, May 31st at 12:50AM.  Hreska is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on June 21st at 8:30AM.

Later Sunday evening, Officer Cleveland responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in the 600 block of East Jefferson Street behind Wagonor’s Music Store at approximately 9:58 P.M.  Cleveland found two subjects, later identified as Jacob Pidcock 19, of Plymouth and Debra Smith 21 of Argos to be in possession of marijuana.  Both were taken to the Marshall County Jail where they were both booked in for Possession of Marijuana.  Each has a $1,000.00 cash bond.  Smith’s bond was paid on May 30th at 12:05PM while Pidcock remains in Jail.  Both Smith and Pidcock are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on June 21st at 8:30AM.

Officer Rans was patrolling the area of Packard Woods located at Harrison and Eighth Streets around 12:15 AM Monday.  An investigation of a suspicious vehicle parked led to the arrest of the passenger in the vehicle, Omar I. Martinez-Cruz, on an active warrant through Puerto Rico.  Omar was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for this warrant.  Later on the same date, it was learned that the male subject identified as Omar Martinez-Cruz, was actually named Hector Yovanny Nunez-Martinez 20, of Plymouth.  He was no longer held on the warrant out of Puerto Rico, but charged with False Informing-Hinders Law Enforcement.  A $750.00 cash bond was paid on May 30th at 2:20PM.  Martinez is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on June 21st at 8:30AM.

In the early hours of Tuesday, May 31st, about 3:30 a.m. Officer Deerfield responded to a 9-1-1 call that resulting in the arrest of James Hill of Plymouth on a warrant.  Hill was taken to Marshall County Jail where he was booked and a hold was placed on him for a Fugitive from Justice.  There is no bond set for Hill.
