08/18/11 On Saturday, August 13th at 4:51 AM Officer Travis O’Neal from the Marshall County Police Department was dispatched to a possibly impaired driver in a white pick-up truck who was northbound on US 31 from SR 110.
Officer O’Neal located the truck at US 31 and 9A Road driving 86 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone. O’Neal then conducted the traffic stop on the truck. While speaking with the driver, Nazario Lune Castillo 32, of Indianapolis an odor commonly associated with alcohol was detected on his breath.
Officer O’Neal then transported Mr. Castillo to the Plymouth Hospital where he failed a certified blood test. He was then taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a $1,000.00 cash bond, which was paid on August 14th at 10:30 P.M. Castillo has a scheduled appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 will be on August 22rd.
