03/18/11 Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 196 sponsored the 1st Annual Plymouth Emergency Services Dinner and Dance last Saturday evening at the Moose Lodge in Plymouth.  More than 100 retired and current city policemen, firemen and paramedics/EMTs attended the event.

Following a tasty dinner of prime-rib a special presentation was made.  Hurshel Hunter, President of the F.O.P. along with retired police officers Ron Babcock and Rex Crump and current city police officers Derek Workman and Trent Shivley surprised John West with a plaque.  West served the Town of Bourbon for a total of 44 years.

Hunter said, “John was a pioneer in the Fraternal Order of Police. His service to Bourbon showed his dedication to providing assistant and help to the citizens of Bourbon and Marshall County.”
