Gina Young did a lot for the kids and the parks of Plymouth. She was passionate about her job, that’s why when superintendent, Mike Hite, showed up intoxicated and working around children she reported him. The time cards is a spin technique to divert our attention from the real issues, which should be the competency of those in charge. I’m disappointed in the town leaders and think this should be looked into more closely.

Tired of hearing about this already. Yes, Gina was good at her job. Yes, she brought many new aspects to the park. Most qualified to do the job?? What? Does she have a Masters Degree in Recreation?? Come on people. This trouble started what? A year… year and a half ago? Your correct djm.. they are hiding something. That something is called an alleged affair. What I want to know is why did they not fire HIM also?? Your right, djm… they good old boy system! Hopefully Mrs. Delph will exit this situation and keep her wonderful Christian name out of it.

Someone is trying to hide something. When and if it comes out I’m sure alot of respect for some people will be lost. New people running for offices should jump on this unless they are part of the good old boy system too.

I find it troubling that Gina got fired because of these so called violations that seem really trivial and petty to me. Throwing in the maximum penalties statements at the end by Nelson Chipman seems a little absurd and more of an attempt make this matter look much more extreme than it really is. The park board is going to need a big, big rug as they attempt to sweep this under it before the truth gets out!
