04/25/11  The Hoosier Hurricane, Quentin Flagg recently celebrated his 28th birthday with a three city tour.  Appearing at concerts with him were Ed Parzygnat of Chicago and Steve Bobbitt of Peoria, Il.  The three gentlemen bill themselves as The Juke Box Trio and share their tribute to the great singers such as Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Rod Stewart, Willie Nelson and many more.

Flagg loves to travel where ever his performances take him but he also enjoys his hometown.  He remembers his friends and likes to give back to his community.  At his birthday tour this year Flagg he encouraged everyone attending to bring items for the Neighborhood Center Food Pantry.  While the food pantry does get staples much of the time they seldom receive the “fun” things that would brighten a child or adults special days. Therefore, Flagg requested donations be party items such as cake mixes, candles, birthday decorations or staples to make cakes and cookies.  Donating to the cause were fans from Cincinnati, Chicago, Michigan, Portage, Louisville, Warsaw, Toledo, South Bend, Merrillville, and many other surrounding cities.  The Neighborhood Center was very pleased with the array of party supplies they received and assured Flagg that he and his fans have added joy to many people’s lives.
