Kiddie’s Day Parade during 2nd Friday

07/08/11 Delta Theta Tau Sorority and Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 195 are sponsoring the Second Friday event this month, to be held this Friday, July 8^th.

Second Friday will feature the annual Kiddie’s Day Parade at 6 p.m. through the downtown area.  Children ages 12 and under are welcomed to participate in the parade.  Decorate your bike or wagon, or grab a costume, make a float and join the fun.  The committee does restrict the use on motorized vehicles in the parade.  Line up for the Kiddie’s Day Parade begins at 5:30 beside Centier Bank.  

Along with the parade kids can participate in the many Kiddie games, have Art the Balloon Man make you a special hat or pet, use some on that penned up energy in the Bounce House or get your face painted.  There will also be live music for everyone’s enjoyment. 

Mayor Sentoer has secured a permit from INDOT to have Michigan Street from LaPorte Street to Washington Street closed on Friday, July 8^th from 6 pm til 8 p.m. to ensure the safety of the children attending the Kiddies Day Event . 

Plan on attending the Second Friday event in downtown Plymouth on July 8^th.
