02/23/11 The Plymouth Public Library recently announced the winners of their annual Valentine’s Day Candy Guessing Contest.  

Each year the Children’s Room runs the contest from February 1^st through February 14^th.  

This year the exact number of candies in the jar was 512.  The First Prize Winner was Timmy Beers and he guessed 512 candies.  He received the container filled with a variety of candy, a coupon book from Burger King, and a book.  Timmy is 5 years old and is in Kindergarten.  

 The Second Prize Winner was Brady Hissong and he guessed 505 candies.  He received a special container of candy, a coupon book from Burger King, and a book.  Brady is 9 years old and is in the Third Grade.  Congratulations to both winners. 

The Plymouth Library staff would like to thank the Friends of the Library for generously funding this program.
