Activities begin next week.Â On Tuesday, February 8th Dr. Carrie Cadwell will present â€śUnderstanding Anxiety and Depression in Older Adulthoodâ€ť at 2 p.m.Â
On Wednesday, February 9th it is a full day of activities. At 8:30 enjoy breakfast with Dr. Josephine Randazzo.Â The South Bend Medical Foundation will have an informational booth from 12:30 to 2 and the Ancilla College Nursing program will offer blood pressure and glucose screening from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursdayâ€™s activities at the Life Enrichment Center during â€śHealth Weekâ€ť will include Rosie Regedanz from Apex Therapy at 10 a.m. and Kim Lintner from the Center for Hospice will speak at noon. She will be discussing â€śMedicare A: the Hospice Benefit.â€ť
Activities wrap up on Friday, February 11th with Karen Richey of the Marshall County Purdue Cooperative Extension Office.Â Karen will speak on â€śFoods that Reduce Cancer Riskâ€ť at 1 p.m.
â€śHealth Weekâ€ť at the Life Enrichment Center is next week and the public is encouraged to attend one or all of the discussions.Â Free refreshments and door prizes will be offered during each activity. Â For more information call the center at 936-9904.
