Last night the 8th grade football team defeated Laporte Boston 22-16 in overtime. Offensive leaders were Cam Eveland 2 touchdowns and Jacob Rachielle with 1 touchdown. The offensive line of Jake Dewar, Damien White, Josh Salyers, Devon Straka, Matt Friar, Austin Dixon, and A.J. Styers did a great job of opening holes all night.
Defensive leaders were Brandt Peters, Jeremy Splix, Bodie Neidig, Chris Robers, Brandon Mattix with a fumble recovery and Jack Barron with 2 interceptions. The win brings the Young Rockies record to 2-0.
The team is back in action this Saturday when they host Northwood.
