10/21/11 For the second year in a row, Dr. Chad Shaw of Family Dental Care is out to save smiles by providing those in need in the community with a day of free dentistry. Dr. Shaw, along with volunteers, will be providing fillings, extractions and cleaning to those without dental insurance or any other means of paying for dental treatment.
In these difficult economic times, Dr. Shaw realizes there is a need to provide for those who otherwise could not afford to receive care. Many local residents find themselves without dental insurance after loosing their jobs. Dr. Shaw wants to give back to the community by helping residents be free from dental pain and improve smiles.
The event will be held on October 22 atFamilyDentalCenter,1409 North Michigan Street,Plymouthfrom8:00 a.m.to1:00 p.m.
