09/06/11 Marshall County Coroner William Cleavenger announced today that he will seek re-election to a second term in 2012. Cleavenger was elected Marshall County Coroner in the 2008 General Eection as a Republican. Cleavenger stated that some people had asked him if he was going to seek another term. “I never had any intentions not to seek a second term, but when people began asking, I thought it best to announce at this time. I would have preferred to wait until after the all important local elections this fall. I plan on concentrating this fall to support our local Republican candidates in their campaigns.” The primary election for coroner won’t be for another eight months. “ I appeciate all the support that I have received from the citezens of Marshall County these last three years, and look forward to continue serving them with dignity, compassion and professionalism as their Marshall County Coroner.”
