08/02/11 Monday morning just before 7 Plymouth Police officers were dispatched to the tennis courts in Centennial Park after a man called the County’s 9-1-1Center requesting an ambulance in the park because he was going to kill himself. Officers arrived shortly after the call but were too late to stop the man.
Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger said Justin Secviar of West Jefferson Street died in his car at 6:57 from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
An investigation by Detective Leo Mangus and Steve DeLee revealed no connection between Secviar’s death and the park.
Cleavenger said the death is still under investigation by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office.
