08/23/11 Marshall County Extension Office is offering a Master Gardener Intern Program to start on Tuesday Evening, August 30, at the Marshall County Extension Office, 112 W Jefferson St, Plymouth.  Sixteen evening sessions will be offered from August 30th through December 13th from 6 to 9 pm each evening.  This is an intense horticulture education series on plant science, plant nutrition, soil science, identification and control of insect, weed and disease pests, woody ornamentals, herbaceous ornamentals, vegetables, lawn care, fruits, basic organic gardening principles, and plant propagation.   By completing this education series and passing an exam, you to become a Purdue Extension Master Gardener Intern, which is the first step to become a Master Gardener.
