The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 1 am EST. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect. Rain may mix with sleet then change to all snow by mid afternoon. Snow will continue until midnight. 2-4 inches of snow is expected by early evening hours with an additional 1 to 2 inches during the evening hours.
Roads will become snow covered and icy as snow develops and temperatures fall below freezing this evening. Hazardous travel conditions are likely for the afternoon and evening commute and again on Wednesday morning. Heavy wet snow and windy conditions this evening may lead to scattered power outages.
Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
