02/24/11 The residents and staff of Miller’s Senior Living Community in Plymouth will be hosting a their third annual Classic Car Cruise-In on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  A Cruise-In…in February?  That’s model cars, of course!

Miller’s Marketing Director, Anna Corebtt explains, “We have our real Classic Car Cruise-In during National Assisted Living Week in September.  Everyone always has a blast!  We started brainstorming about the winter months and thought, why not bring the fun indoors and try it with model cars”?

Residents and community members are invited to enter their model car or cars of choice.  The car can be a cast iron pre-made car or an actual car that was glued together or it can even be a wooden car.  Once again popular 50’s entertainer, Quentin Flagg will act as deejay for the event.  He promises to enter one of his favorite model cars as well.

All participants will receive a ribbon and there will be a “Best of Show” trophy presented.  There will also be some extra prizes for winners of the bubble gum blowing contest and the twist contest.  Refreshments will be provided.  For additional information or to enter your model car in the contest contact Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg at 1-574-936-9801.
