01/05/11 Resident of Miller’s Senior Living Community brought in the New Year with a Prime Rib Dinner and entertainment by entertainer Quentin Flagg. After the delicious meal prepared by dietary staff the residents retired to the Main Lobby where Flagg performed his high energy, Vegas style show.
Flagg sang and danced his way through the hits of Bobby Darin, Elvis, Dean Martin and many more. At 6:59 p.m. everyone took a break to do a countdown to a “pre”-new year. At 7:00 p.m. balloons dropped, Auld Lang Syne was played and Activity Director Cindy Flagg presented the New Year toast. The festivities continued as Quentin Flagg continued his show with more familiar songs. Flagg took time throughout his performance to greet everyone in attendance.
