10/31/11 Jenny Wagers, Assistant Chef at Miller’s Assisted Living in Plymouth was the winner of the Staff pumpkin decorating contest held last week. Activity Director Cindy Flagg gave each staff person a mini-pumpkin to decorate any way they wished.
Nine staff members participated and they came up with many creative ways to decorate. Some were painted in decorative designs, one was made into a turkey, and another was made into a witch.
As mentioned, Wagers won first place with her witch creation. Second place went to Carol Michael (dietary department) with an elegantly painted pumpkin and elaborate vine. Brenda Moreno (housekeeping) won third place with her crocheted creation. Residents, staff and visitors voted for their favorite pumpkins.
