01/12/11 The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one vehicle accident on Saturday, January 8th at approximately 7:35 p.m. on Olive Trail south of Dixon Lake Trail.
When Sergeant Bruce Carter arrived on the scene he made contact with the driver, 17 year old Ashely Textor of Plymouth. Textor was driving a 1992 Ford Taurus and advised that a vehicle coming towards her failed to dim its headlights. Textor told Officer Carter that she got her right side wheels off the pavement and lost control of the vehicle. The Ford Taurus slid down the embankment and hit a tree.
Sergeant Carter’s report indicated that injuries sustained from this accident appeared to be minor.
