In the heat event Damon Breedlove went to victory lane.

In the late model heat events the competitors went for eight laps in two very close races. Picking up the wins were Mike Cannon and Ronnie Maynard Junior grabbing top honors in the fast heat.

In the street stock eight lap heats the racing was even hotter as many of the drivers remained side-by-side and nose to tail for a majority of the events. Crossing the line first in heat number one was Kevin Gunkel while Peewee Warren held on for the heat win in the fast heat.

In the front wheel drive heat Tom Hellinga continued his winning ways with a victory on the final lap.

In the features the USA Modifieds kicked things off with a fifty lap affair. Brian Nester broke out to a healthy lead at the midway part of the feature and never looked back although second place finishing Jason Timmerman did go down fighting. In the third position was Tom Jewell, GGreg Fullerton finished fourth and David Martin rounded out the top five.

The late models went thirty laps with a wild finish that resulted in Mike Cannon picking up his first feature win of the year at the Plymouth Speedway. John Marshall held onto his point lead with a second place finish just ahead of Roger Northrop rounding out the podium. In fourth was Cory Lindsey and Floyd Wood rounded out the top five.

In the street stock feature the racing was exciting for seven laps the leaders Dave Long and D.J. Frost battled side-by-side. Frost was able to clear Long for his second feature win of the year. Long held on for second while Jeff Stetler finished third. Chris Woodall and Pee Wee Warren rounded out the top five.

In the front wheel drive feature Tom Hellinga had a hard fought battle with Bill Miller but continued by for another feature win. Miller held on for second and Tom Taylor rounded out the podium in third.
