10/12/11 The Niles Haunted House Scream Park, one of Michiana’s most popular autumn attractions, is adding some special entertainment to its already packed lineup on its 44 acre site on Mayflower Road between Niles & Buchanan.
On Friday, October 14, visitors at the Park can meet with “Captain Jack Sparrow” and several of the Monsters of the Midway during open hours (7-11 pm). From 8 to 9 pm, patrons can have their pictures taken with a monster and uploaded to their Facebook page, or buy a souvenir picture to have autographed by all their favorite monsters.
Wicked Jester Entertainment is performing on Saturday for its first time at the Scream Park. This premium entertainment company features a juggler, magician and stilt walker. Also on Saturday, the Park will receive a visit from the “Michigan Ghostbusters.”
Also appearing both nights is Zendor with his stage show “The Puppet Master.”
The permanent attractions also will be open (7-11 Friday and Saturday, 7-10 Sunday), which include three interior haunted houses, the Field of Screams and the Dark Terror-tory Haunted Hayride.
The Scream Park is recognized nationally in the haunted attraction industry. In 2009, it was one of the featured haunts in a movie entitled “Halloween — The Happy Haunting of America Part II.” Also, the Scream Park was the featured haunt in the February, 2007 issue of “Haunted Attraction Magazine” — a national publication.
