04/20/11 Eric Saunders, new Promoter for Plymouth Speedway announced Tuesday afternoon that he has secured a special visit by Travis Pastrana for Friday, August 12th.
Pastrana is a motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won 11 gold medals in the X Games. Known for his dare-devil jumps, he currently has a show called Nitro Circus on MTV where he attempts mind-blowing stunts.
This year Pastrana has partnered with NASCAR team owner Michael Waltrip to form Pastrana Waltrip Racing and will drive in 7 Nationwide races this season with the first one being in Indianapolis on July 30th.
Saunders is excited to have one of his buds stopping by the track for a meet and greet with fans of Plymouth Speedway. More details will be released as the event gets closer.
