12/05/11 Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin released the November Activity Report.  There were 144 jail bookings for the month with the top 10 offenses being: 10) Civil, 9) Operated Never Licensed, 8. Domestic Battery, 7) Probation Violation, 6) Illegal Consumption, 5) Driving While Suspended, 4) Marijuana, 3) Theft, 2) Operating While Intoxicated and the number 1) Failure to Appear.

When looking at the bookings by various departments Plymouth is the top one with 43 males an 22 females being booked in during November.  The Sheriff’s Department follows with 36 males and 8 females.  Bremen Police arrested 12 males and 1 female while Troopers from the ISP arrested 4 males and 3 females.  Bourbon Police arrested 2 males and 2 females, Argos police arrested 2 males and Culver P.D. only had 1 male arrested.

County Police Officers investigated 88 accidents, 7 involved personal injury and 81 were property damage.  There were 202 case reports taken in November and 48 citations written. The Sheriff’s Department also received 631 civil process papers.

The Marshall County 9-1-1 center answered 1092 calls last month: 759 of the calls were police related, 77 were fire departments responding to 9-1-1 calls, 228 were EMS calls and 969 were calls for non emergency calls.

During November Marshall County deputies self-initiated 667 calls including traffic stops, assisting motorists, removing debris from the roadway and more.
