03/09/11 The sluggish economy has put a world of hurt on many of the agencies in Marshall County that serve those in need of assistance. As a way to once again, give back to the community Oliver Ford in Plymouth is has come up with a way give to the Marshall County Humane Society and at the same time meet a serious need they have.

With the cold weather hanging on, the oil that Oliver Ford uses to heat their shop is running low.  Jennifer Houin said, “We have become more eco-friendly and are burning our used oil to heat the Service Department.”  She continued, “We need your old oil and it doesn’t matter if it’s your Ford that need an oil change or any other make, we love um all.”

For the next 2 weeks Oliver Ford is making you the offer of the season.  Houin Said, “If you schedule your oil change this week and bring in 4 items on the list below for our friends at the Marshall County Humane Society we will only charge you $20 plus tax for your new oil, filter and lube.”  She continued, “We will also fill all the rest of your fluids and wash your vehicle for FREE!”

Items that the Humane Society are in need of include: dry dog and cat food, treats, toys, old or new stuffed animals, blankets, towels, paper towel, bleach, laundry soap and dish soap.
