06/28/11 Felke Florist Angels played a double header with the Chain-O-Lakes Athletics Saturday morning at the Pony League diamond in Centennial Park. While the teams split the two games the real winner was Ounce Of Prevention, who received the funds raised from a drawing and sales of t-shirts during the games. Both teams wore pink caps with the Ounce of Prevention logo on them and the umpires traded their traditional blue for pink Ounce of Prevention shirts. The Angels will be wearing their pink jerseys and using special pink bats all season to continue to raise funds and awareness for Ounce of Prevention.
