12/22/11 Students of piano teacher Judy Pogar held their annual piano recital at Miller’s Senior Living Community in Plymouth. During the first half of the recital each student played a song they have been working on since September and a favorite song they enjoy playing. The second half of the program consisted of each student playing two Christmas carols and a duet with their teacher. For the first time since Pogar has been holding the piano recital at Miller’s she and two students attempted playing a piano trio. In her own words, Mrs. Pogar admitted the hardest part of a trio is “fitting everyone on the bench”. The trio consisting of Kevin Sibal, Rachael Dodson and Pogar played “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” perfectly. The students ranged in age from 7 years old to high school age. Pogar presented each student with a certificate of completion and a small gift. Following the recital refreshments were served in the facility’s Oak Hill Cafe.
