09/09/11 Looking for a new adventure this Fall?   It’s not too late to find a new hobby or learn something new in People’s University!   Classes beginning the week of September 12 include Watercolors, “Let’s Get Shaking” greeting cards, Bible Study, Coffee 101, The Internet, and Circuit Training 101.  And that’s just one week!  There are many more classes, which continue through September and October, including computers, finance, photography, crafts, health, and fitness.  Full class schedules are available at the Life Enrichment Center or any of our partner locations, or online at www.marshallcountycouncilonaging.org.   Registrations for classes may be dropped off or mailed to the Life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison Street, Plymouth.

People’s University is co-op of education designed to offer Marshall County residents an opportunity to engage in lifelong learning.  The class schedule includes all kinds of subjects, from science and technology to the arts, health and fitness.  Classes are open to anyone interested, and have very nominal fees, if any.  Along with our Partners, Marshall County Council on Aging invites you to challenge yourself this Fall: learn a new skill, revitalize an old one, or simply get out and see what’s happening in your community.  People’s University is brought to you by Ancilla College, Culver-Union Township Library, Earthworks, Encore Performing Arts, Marshall County Council on Aging, Purdue Extension Office, Marshall County Historical Society, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth Parks Department, Plymouth Public Library, and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Rev. Dr. Ronald Liechty will be back this Fall to teach his popular Bible Study class he describes as a study with discussion of a Biblical theme with application for modern life.
