02/25/11 The Plymouth High School has release information for parents and students concerning finals for the second trimester due to the closing of school on Thursday.
The plan for final examinations as a result of the cancellation Thursday and taking into account that more bad weather may be on the way follows:
Assuming we will have school Friday, February 25,
Friday, February 25 = exams in periods 2 and 5
Monday, February 28 = exams in periods 1, 4, and 6
Tuesday, March 1 = No student attendance at PHS only and Teacher Records Day for PHS
Wednesday, March 2 = Begin Trimester 3 with students reporting to their home room for schedule distribution to begin the day
If we have a delay or a cancellation on Friday, February 25 our plan for examinations will be as follows:
Two Hour Friday Delay:
Students will report directly to first period for 15 minutes allowing teachers the opportunity to collect work and make announcements
Examinations will be administered in periods 2 and 5 with 70 minutes allowed for testing per period
Period 4 will meet for the normal 70 minutes with a 30 minute lunch
Period 6 will meet for 15 minutes for the same purposes as period 1
Vocational Class Students attending Cosmetology or Auto Tech in Knox will report to PHS Study Hall held in the cafeteria.
Vocational Students attending Building Trades, Health Services, Child Care, or Computer Tech will attend their vocational classes at the following times:
Morning Vocational Class will meet from 9:55- 11:25
Afternoon Vocational Class will meet from 1:15 – 2:45
If School is canceled Friday:
Monday, February 28 = exams in periods 2 and 5 only
Tuesday, March 1 = exams in periods 1, 4, and 6
Wednesday = No PHS student attendance; Teacher Records Day
Thursday = Begin Trimester 3 with students reporting directly to home room to begin the day
