Last night the PHS boys and girls bowling team competed at home against the Bremen Lions. Going into the match, the boys were 1-0 against Bremen. Leading the boys in the first game was Jacob Pritchard with a 142, Blake Smith with a 143, and Dylan Aker with a 191. The second game was just a good, with Blake Smith rolling a 155, Jacob Pritchard a 158, and Zach Mahan with a 202. They ended the night beating Bremen with a score of 774-681 in the first game, and 715-674 in the second, taking the win. Jacob Pritchard and Blake Smith won both games individually, as well as Daren Miller and Zach Mahan winning their game out of the night, and Dylan Aker winning his first game. The boys are now 2-0 on the season. Also, the girls were 1-0, but that changed when they came out on top after 2 games, with a record also of 2-0 afterwards. Leading the first game was Macie McMichael with a 136, Casey McDonald with a 142, and Brianne VanHattum with a 163. In the second game, the high scores were Emily Merritt with a 150, Tia Merritt with a 152, and Brianne VanHattum with a 167, finishing the match out beating Bremen with a score of P662-556 in the first game, and a 714-499 in the second. Ending the night, Macie McMicheal, Brianne VanHattum, and Casey McDonald all maxed out winning both games individually, along with Emily Merrit and Tia Merritt also winning their one game. Now after 2 matches consisting of four games, Jacob Pritchard, Macie McMicheal, Blake Smith, and Casey McDonald have bowled every game this season and are all undefeated individually with a record of 4-0 so far, leading their teams in points. Plymouth travels to Chippewa Bowling alley next Wednesday, November 9th, against the Riley Wildcats.
