11/21/11 Plymouth High School Speech and Debate Team members have once again proven that they are among the strongest competitors in the state.  On November 12, the team captured the top team placing at Culver Academies by amassing 180 points. Their nearest competitor was the Munster High Schoolteam with 161 points followed by Culver Academies with 132.

Thirteen teams comprising of 450 individual competitors entered the contest.

The tournament was divided into two categories for novice and varsity competitors. The contest marked the first time that many of the novice team members had presented before adult judges. Several of the novice and varsity members completed in more than one event.
