Pilgrims stained by Berries in 7th inning comeback in 11-10 loss.

Offense was plentiful in Logansport between the Logansport Berries and the Plymouth Pilgrims, 21 runs combined to be exact.  As a matter of fact, Plymouth scored in every inning of this ballgame only to see it a 10-3 lead slip away in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Plymouth sophomore Doug Andrews became the third straight pitcher to throw another outstanding game for the Pilgrims.  He went 6 innings of work, allowing 4 runs, 6 hits, 5 strikeouts and 4 walks.  Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as closers Kyle Cartwright and Hayden Skirvin struggled getting the final three outs, giving up 7 runs in the final frame.

The Pilgrims will hop on the bus again and travel east for a NLC game vs Warsaw (weather permitting).

WTCA Pre-Game Show begins around 4:45pm.
