04/28/11 The Plymouth Kiwanis Group is selling bags of sweet Vandalia onions for its latest fundraiser. The onions come in 10 pound bags and are selling for just $10 each. These will be available the Farmers Market at the Kiwanis booth on Saturday May 14th and 21st from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Onions will also be for sale at Centier Bank on Oak Road on May 21st from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Five pound bags can also be purchased for $7.00, but only for the day-of sales, and not advance sales. Advance sales are underway from all Plymouth Kiwanis members. The deadline for advance sales is May 18th. Tickets are also available by calling Linda Houin at 935-5313.
Vandalia onions will add a zing to your burgers, salads, sandwiches, soups and other culinary delights this spring and summer.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and once community at a time.
