03/16/11 On Saturday March 12th at approximately 3:00am Patrolman Joe Giordano and Patrolman Ryan Hollopeter of the Marshall County Police Department conducted a routine traffic stop for speeding at the intersection of US 30 and Queen Road. Through the investigation it was discovered that driver Gary R. Beatty 24, of Plymouth was Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. It was also determined that Beatty was in Possession of Cocaine. Beatty was lodged at the Marshall County Jail on charges of Possession of Cocaine More than 3 Grams (C-Felony), Operating while Intoxicated (A Misdemeanor), and Public Intoxication (B-Misdemeanor). Beatty’s bond is set at $5000.00 cash.
Beatty is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior 1 on March 22nd at 8:30am.
