07/18/11 On Wednesday July 14th Plymouth Police Department was contacted around 1:00 a.m. in reference to a suspicious male in the area of Jefferson and Beerenbrook Streets.  After Officer Jordan Rans conducted an investigation on the male identified as Ryan D. Bontrager 28, of Goshen.  Bontrager had an active warrant out of Elkhart County for a Failure to Appear on Cost and Fines.  He was transported to Marshall County Jail where a hold was placed on him for his charges, with no bond set.

Later in the early evening around 4:00 p.m. Officer Gary Cleveland was requested to respond to Wal-Mart on North Oak Drive in reference to a theft.  Wal-Mart employees indicated that both subjects had fled the scene.  Cleveland conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of North Oak Drive and Hoham Drive; it was found that Austin L. Miller 19, of Plymouth and a juvenile female from Plymouth were reported to be the shoplifters.  Miller was transported to the Marshall County where he was booked in for theft, a Class D Felony.  A cash bond of $1,000.00 was set and a scheduled court appearance will be on July 26th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court #1.
