02/09/11 Jordan Rans, a 2003 graduate of Plymouth High School, was sworn in Monday morning as Plymouth Police Department’s newest officer by Clerk-Treasurer Toni Hutchings in the City Council Chambers. Rans, a Plymouth resident, is also a 2007 graduate of Ball State University. He started his law enforcement career as a jailer/dispatcher at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department in July of 2007 before becoming a patrolman in April of 2008. He is also a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield. Rans stated, “I am looking forward to serving the city that I have lived in most of my life.”
Jordan is the son of Bert and Marilyn Rans of Plymouth and is engaged to Meghan Neulieb.
